Take a trip...

I spent this last week in L.A. assisting for Matthew Turley.
On Monday I had a few minutes to go exploring, it's always
nice to be in a different state, everything's new (not that this
motor home is new, but you know what I mean). The job
was for The Home Depot, so you should see Matt's images
in stores around April. The week was awesome, I learn a ton.
At the end of the week I was happy to come home and see
my girls.
Oh, and I have a new goal- Buy a motor home and hit the road!

Bananas occupy my mind...

Polaroid lift on Epson print, #1
So, I've been thinking about how there's only so much
an observer can see. There are too many layers, like
no one can see what anyone else is thinking about. I
wanted to play around with this idea. I caught myself
thinking about bananas the other day (random I know),
it made me laugh out loud. Anyway, this Polaroid series
is about seeing things you normally wouldn't be able to.

Fun with Polaroid

I'm doing a series of Polaroid lifts, which I will be posting later.
I scanned this image which will become part of another image.

Film is Not Dead v. 3.0 - San Francisco

Back in November I took a workshop from an amazing photographer,
Jonathan Canlas. It was an amazing experience. I can't begin to describe
what I took away from it, all I can say is freaking awesome! This year it
will be held in San Francisco. I know it will be amazing, I wish I could
go again. Check it out, here are the details.
Here are some of the images I took while in Hawaii, attending the
workshop. CLICK HERE.

This is Caleb

Caleb is freaking rad kid, I'll be shooting him for the next
couple of months. He has many talents: video games,
documentary/short films, cook, musician, and genuine
friend. My goal is to tell you all what he's about.
